Manor Barn is situated in the corner of a five-acre meadow just 100 metres from the cliff top. It has outstanding views of the sea and surrounding countryside. Built over 150 years ago of brick and flint, it has been converted to provide spacious and luxurious accommodation.
Stepped access to the quiet sandy beach can be reached across the owner’s meadow. Alternatively, half-a-mile away, a concrete slope takes you down to Overstrand beach. Sidestrand and neighbouring Overstrand are set in the heart of Poppyland immortalised in the writings of Clement Scott.
The quintessentially English seaside resort of Overstrand provides local amenities, including a well-stocked village store, a three-star hotel with a restaurant and bar, public house and cliff-top café. Freshly-caught crabs are available in season – perfect for simple but delectable dinners.
Nearby areas of interest include National Trust properties Felbrigg and Blickling Halls which, as well as being fantastic historical places to visit, host outdoor concerts and other events. North Norflok is renowned for its outdoor pursuits and accommodates the desires of anyone from the gentle rambler to the extreme sports enthusiast.
